During my PhD, I have extensively worked on the confluent epithelial cell monolayers. Below, I have pictorially summarized the key components of the cells in a monolayer.
Besides my theoretical works, I am also involved in performing experiments on the Drosophila fruit fly as described below pictorially.
I use several well-known popular numerical models to study the static, dynamics and rheological properties of the confluent cell monolayer as depicted below.
I am familiar with Fortran90, C, C++, Matlab, Python, Mathematica and Gnuplot. I use these languages and software for coding, plotting, and analyzing my data.
