Put your thinking caps on, get ready to have fun and join the South Windsor community in a town-wide scavenger hunt. The quest to locate South Windsor’s treasures – some hidden and others not so much – will start on Saturday, May 1st, and continue through the summer.
Over the course of the scavenger hunt, clues will lead to landmark buildings and other historical locations in town. You will use a mobile phone App to get the clues, deadlines, and submission requirements.
There will be a new game every month. All winners for each game will be entered into a drawing to win a prize for that month. All other winners for that month will be entered into a final drawing to be held on Friday night, Sept 17 at 6:00 during the opening ceremony of the Anniversary Jubilee. Monthly prizes will also be presented at that time.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
By participating in the proceeding Goose Chase game(s), hereinafter referred to as the “Game”, created by the South Windsor 175th Anniversary Committee, hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”, you, hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”, agree to the following rules:
No pictures or videos of children may be uploaded. Children shall be defined as any person under the age of 18 at the time of the Game.
No participation in the Game while driving.
All tangible (Places, signs, people, general objects) phenomena involved in completing the Game will be treated with respect. Respect generally means leaving all tangible phenomena in the state they were in before the Game began.
Social Distancing regulations set forth by the State of CT will be followed at all times when applicable.
Exhibit appropriate behavior at all times. Participant will be disqualified for vandalism, defamation, stealing, and any other unlawful activity while playing the Game.
Participant username and picture may be used to publicly announce winner of each Game.
Participant for thyself, heirs, assigns, successors, executors, administrators, and legal representatives
(collectively hereafter referred to as “me”), HEREBY RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS, THE TOWN OF
SOUTH WINDSOR, THE COMMITTEE, GOOSE CHASE, AND EACH OF THEIR AGENTS, SERVANTS OR
EMPLOYEES for and claims whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Game, including but not
limited to claims for personal injury or property damage, EVEN IF DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE
COMMITTEE, GOOSE CHASE, AND THEIR AGENTS, SERVANTS OR EMPLOYEES.
PARTICIPANT HAS READ AND UNDERSTANDS THE TERMS OF PARTICIPATION. PARTICIPANT FURTHER
UNDERSTANDS THAT HE/SHE IS GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS VOLUNTARILY AND OF
PARTICIPANT’S OWN FREE WILL.
