Well-balanced and nutritious meals are delivered to adults 60 years and older in Kitsap County who are homebound due to illness or disability and are unable to prepare meals for themselves. Referrals are accepted from individuals, family members, friends, physicians, and agencies. Hot Meals are also served at five (5) Community Dining Sites through reservations by 2:00 PM the working day prior. 5 Frozen Meals To Go at three (3) Community Pick up sites through Reservation by 2:00 PM the working day prior. Community Dining Meals and Meals To Go are offered on a donation-only basis to eligible adults aged 60 years and over. The suggested donation is $5.00 per meal. Liquid nutrition supplements are available by prescription for persons 60 years and older with special medical needs. Home-delivered meals can be provided to Kitsap County Caregiver Support program participants. Service is available to unpaid family caregivers and their care recipients to provide a break from caregiving responsibilities. This service is available within funding and eligibility limitations.

Kitsap County Division of Aging and Long-Term Care Office provides connections to services to promote the well-being and independence of older adults 60+, adults with disabilities, functional limitations, or memory impairment, and a family member or friend (unpaid role) helping. Services are provided by phone and e-mail. If in-person services are preferred, please call (360) 337-5700 to schedule a walk-in appointment Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
