Enrollment

Southglenn Montessori Preschool is a Pre-K  and  Junior Kindergarten focused mixed age classroom 

where enrollment is selected utilizing a tiered lottery system 

with priority given to equal distribution of ages as well as younger siblings of enrolled children.

Timeline and Details of Lottery

Returning Child 

Opens October 1st -

Closes December 9th

Priority enrollment for continuing children before the lottery.

New Child 

Every new child interested in attending the upcoming August -May school year needs to complete 3 steps  

before December 10th 

to participate in the lottery for enrollment.

1. attend a “Music Gathering”* (can attend at any age) 

2. attend a “Welcome to Montessori" class  (attend once 2 years old )

3. fill out the waitlist form 

December 10th tier one will be selected

tier one is 

•children who turn 5 years before Oct 1st

•younger siblings of returning children who turn 3 before Oct 1st 

(meaning you will have two children enrolled at the same time) 

Selected children will be notified on December 10th and must turn in enrollment forms and deposits by December 14th. 

December 15th tier two will be selected 

tier two is 

•children who turn 4 before Oct 1st (those eligible for UPK funding)

Selected children will be notified on December 15th and must turn in enrollment forms and deposits by December 19th

December 20th tier three will be selected 

tier three is 

•children who turn 3 before Oct 1st 

Selected children will be notified on December 20th and must turn in enrollment forms and deposits by December 24th

"Welcome to Montessori" classes will be offered at 10am on the following Sundays

Sunday October 18th 2026

Sunday November 8th 2026

Sunday December 7th 2026
