I am from the upstate and grew up in Central, SC. I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and I still work for the University. I currently have two purr-babies, Benjen and River, both rescues. Lillie, a German Shepard/Boston Terrier/Other mix, and Izzie, a Husky/Malamute mix, both passed within four months of each other in 2019-2020. Mic, our cat approximately 20 years old, passed soon after Lillie and Izzie. Benjen found us three days after losing my 17 year old Cotton, and now we have a foster fail Mikey and nine month old Poe!
I've had experience with animals throughout my whole life. My mom loved animals immensely and was always bringing something home, so I have had experience with everything from our pet raccoon Maggie to a pet deer named Princess. We always had at least a cat or guinea pigs and we've also had at some point bunnies, birds, reptiles and fish.
I understand how important it is to have a strict routine with your pets, and trying to adhere to that while you are away makes for a very stressful and uneasy situation. My dogs were on a very time-oriented, event-related routine which worked well for us and continues to work well for our fosters. I am constantly reading, researching, and absorbing as much information as possible about pet health and care in order to provide my furry friends the care they deserve in the best possible way. I am also the person that friends and family consult when they have a question or concern about their own fur babies.
I am a courteous and caring professional offering a variety of services to accommodate you and your pet's needs as well as create a less stressful situation for everyone. I have a passion for what I do and for the people and pets I do it for. These bonded relationships are what drive me to do the best I can for you and your pets. I value my client's trust in me to care for their pet as requested with the same level of love and compassion as I do my own.
