Registration

SGS focuses on research in geobiology and related fields and particularly encourages attendance and presentations from early-career researchers.

Registration and on-campus housing reservation is now CLOSED.  The deadline for registration was October 7, 2026. 

Undergraduate and graduate students traveling from outside of the Corpus Christi metropolitan area are eligible for limited travel support. By registering for SGS, you will automatically be considered for travel support. Priority will be given to those presenting at SGS. Early registration is advantageous. We plan to notify travel award recipients by October 21, 2026. 

Student travel support is graciously funded by the Agouron Institute, Texas Sea Grant, and Frank Cornish of Imagine Resources, LLC. 

Abstract submission is CLOSED. 

Research can range from published work to preliminary results, and any interested student is welcome to present their research in either a poster or an oral presentation format.  There is no fee associated with abstract submission. We plan to share official abstract acceptances and presentation details by October 21, 2026.
