Open to APA members in good standing with 20 matches played in the Masters Division, or any combination of 20 matches across 8-Ball, 9-Ball, and Masters within the past 2 years.
You do not need to be on a Southeast Challenge team to enter.
No skill level required—this is a non-handicapped format following APA Masters rules.
Players must bring photo ID and have access to their APA app for skill level and membership verification.
Each team must consist of 3 to 4 players.
Only 3 players will compete per match.
A player may appear on only one Masters MiniMania team.
Played on two tables simultaneously.
Vegas-style race—each match consists of three individual player matchups.
Each individual match is a race to 7, alternating 8-Ball and 9-Ball.
The team that wins 2 out of 3 individual matches advances to the next round.
Racks alternate between 8-Ball and 9-Ball, with winner breaks and lag for first break.
Coaching is not permitted.
Entry Fee: $100 per team (up to 4 players).
A $5 per player admin fee is included in the entry.
Table time is included in the entry.
Cash payouts to the top 25% of the field, based on bracket size and total entries.
You don’t need to be on a Southeast Challenge team to play!
All participants must:
Be APA members in good standing
Have 20 league scores in one format (8-Ball or 9-Ball) within the past two years
Note: 10 scores in each format does not meet this requirement.
Full eligibility rules are outlined in the MiniMania Rules for Participation.
All players must compete at their highest skill level across all active APA areas—even if that level is below SL3.
If you have:
20 scores in one format: You’ll use your established SL in that format
No 20 scores in any format, but 20 Masters matches: You’ll be assigned SL7 (8-Ball) and SL9 (9-Ball)
Only 20 scores in one format: You can still play the other format, but must go one SL higher
Example: SL4 in 8-Ball = SL5 in 9-Ball
SL7 in one = SL9 in the other
🛑 Scores or matches earned during the event do not count toward eligibility.
