Puppy Curriculum

Puppies are raised with the "Puppy Culture" & "Badass Breeder" socialization and training programs which exposes them to age appropriate stimili and challenges. This daily curriculum results in confident, well-adjusted puppies who easily transition to their forever homes. Our puppies are 90% potty trained to eliminate either outdoors or in a litter box. They have also begun crate training, making the first few nights with their new families less stressful.

Puppy Matching

While it's tempting to choose a puppy based on gender and color, experience has shown us that temperament is the most important factor to consider when matching a puppy to their new family.  Harris Havanese puppies complete an extensive temperament evaluation when they reach 8 weeks of age.  Only after evaluation relults are shared with waitlist families, do they make their final selections. Puppies are then selectied in the order of deposits recieved.

When you get a puppy from Harris Havanese, we not only support you throughout the purchase process, but throughout the life of your puppy.  We are always available to answer any questions you may have, whether related to health, puppy care, training, or maybe you just want to share adorable photos.  We love watching our puppies grow and thrive with their forever families!
