SASU San Diego will be having a movie night at the Canyon Crest Academy Nest at 6pm, on Friday, April 15th. This will be a great opportunity for students to watch a classic together with friends. Hope to see you to watch Zindagi na Milegi Dobora!

Our Holi Social will be on Sunday, April 3rd. This is the second social event aimed at bringing together our various highschoolers from throughout the country at Mission Beach on April 3rd at 3PM. This event will have vairous games and will include games like a somosa eating contest, painting, carrom, spikeball etc. Prizes will be included for our big contest. See you there!

SASU San Diego will be having a merchandise design competition and will be awarding the winner of the competition a $25 amazon gift card. We will be opening a google form for submissions from November 29th to December 13th. Our Diwali Social seeks to connect various highschoolers from our various branches in the San Diego area together at Del Mar Beach from 3:00 - 6:30 on November 7th 2022. This event will contain many fun games, contests and fun. Additionally of course with access to the beach feel free to bring your own fun. We are looking to raise funds for the COVID situation primarily in India. India currently suffers from a lack of space, oxygen, and a low amount of vaccines, with a rise of COVID cases due to a new strand of COVID-19 called B.1.617 that is more contagious and affects young people at a greater level. People have to travel over 30 miles out of their hometown due to filled hospitals to try and get a spot in another city. Many hospitals don’t even accept patients unless they have their own oxygen tanks, since hospitals are no longer able to provide them. There are up to two people sharing one bed at a time and the situation in India doesn't seem to be getting much better. Our fundraiser is a cash only fundraiser working through spheres of influence in multiple schools. We hope to encourage students to donate by providing a 3d-printed figurine of their choice for every 5 dollars donated.

We will be playing PG Cards Against Humanity to bond existing members and create opportunities for more people to socialize and meet during these hard times.
