History

The South Asian Law Society at Nottingham Trent University was founded with the vision of creating a supportive and vibrant community for South Asian law students. Recognizing the need for a platform that celebrates cultural diversity while providing academic and professional support. Our founders/president envisioned a space where students could connect, learn, and grow together, while also promoting cultural awareness and inclusivity within the university.

The South Asian Law Society at Nottingham Trent University is a vibrant and newly established community dedicated to fostering cultural awareness, professional development, and inclusivity. We are a student-led society that aims to empower individuals by celebrating the rich diversity of South Asian cultures and creating a supportive environment for all members. Through engaging events, educational workshops, and networking opportunities, we strive to build a platform where voices are heard, cultures are honored, and futures are shaped.

Standard Members

Standard Membership through NTSU

As a standard member, you’ll have access to all our events, Whatsapp chats, workshops, and networking opportunities. You can participate in cultural celebrations, attend guest lectures, and connect with other members who share your interests. It’s a great way to be involved, learn, and grow without the additional responsibilities of an executive role. Please click the link above to pay the £3 Standard Member fee for the year through NTSU.
