This year marks the 2nd edition of the Garden State Art Weekend, a state-wide celebration of New Jersey’s diverse and vibrant arts scene, and S4A is officially taking part!
Our show title ‘Vasant’ means springtime in Sanskrit (the ancient classical language of India) and symbolizes happiness, new beginnings, hope, and prosperity! Come celebrate the arrival of the season through a mosaic of beautiful ART at the Community Hub in the mall! We are one of many art venues across NJ taking part!
FREE and open to all, visitors can learn about the artists’ work, approaches, experience, and insight. Artwork by the artists will also be for sale!

Watchung Art Center presents the South Asian Artist Association of America (S4A) group exhibit entitled "Creating Confluence, Bridging Cultures" from March 1–29, 2025 at the Watchung Art Center, Watchung, NJ. The exhibition highlights the fluid and evolving identities of around 40 artists of South Asian origin based in America, focusing on how their work bridges the cultural distance between heritage and global experiences.It celebrates the intersection of South Asian traditions and contemporary global aesthetics, offering a rich tapestry of artistic narratives that reflect personal and collective experiences. Through this theme, artists explore profound stories of: Migration and belonging, Cultural hybridity and transformation, Reviving tradition through modern mediums, Coexistence and unity in diversity.
