The first Band fee payment of $60 is due on November 2, 2026

This is to cover our trips to Cedar Point and the Pistons game.

Parent-Teacher Conference 6-12 grade

I will hold parent-teacher conferences on the following dates and locations. You may choose any date/location that is convenient for your family.

Fundraiser Kickoff 6-12 grade

This week we will start the Music Note fundraiser. Students will receive a Music Note Poster to collect donations for themselves. Money should be turned in to Mr.Cook, the front office, or Mrs. Franklin. The funds will go toward your childs band fee.

MS Students Marching Band 7-8 grade

I will continue to take instruments to the High school.

Select students will need to attend all after-school rehearsals this week ( They know who they are).

All other students may attend Friday for the football game. See SLHS V Madison Itinerary for details.

9:30 pm Depart SLHS

9:45 pm Dismissal

EMU Band Day 7-12 grade students 

The EMU Band Day Performance will be this Saturday, 10/17/2026. We are in need of two more chaperones; if you are interested, please respond to this email. ccook@solake.org  If you plan to check out your child at the event, please see me before halftime. Only parents listed on PowerSchool can check out students. Chaperones can enter the game for free. All others will need to purchase a discounted ticket. Here is the link: tiny.emich.edu/banddaytix

2:30 pm Pregame show 

3:15 pm Kickoff 

5:30 pm Halftime

6:30 pm Depart to SLHS

8:00 pm Arrival/Dismissal
