2025 Alumni Homecoming Band

We are excited to invite any and all South Lake Band Alumni to participate in this year's Homecoming game performance!  We are planning to involve as many band alums from any year to join us on the field during pregame for the Star Spangled Banner & Onward South Lake, and then stay to play along in the stands during the game.  So...it's time to get out that instrument, blow out the cobwebs, and play them long tones!  Read below for details!

• Homecoming Date: Friday, September 19th, 2025 @ 7pm @ the South Lake Athletic Field

SLHS V St. Clair Friday September 19, 2025

3:05 pm report to MS students report to band room

21621 California St, St Clair Shores, MI 48080

3:15 pm MS students Depart to SLHS (Transportation provided) 

21900 E 9 Mile Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080

3:30 pm rehearsal with the SLHS band   

5:00 pm Parade To Stadium

23101 Stadium Dr, St Clair Shores, MI 48080 

6:30 pm Pregame Performance with SLHS Band 

7:00 pm Game start, Dinner (provided)

Students will play in the stands with the SLHS Band

adult admission $7

8:00 pm Viewing of the halftime show 

8:15 pm 1st student sign out by parents

9:15 pm Depart to SLHS/ 2nd student sign out

• Mandatory rehearsal:  Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 @ 4:30pm -6 pm @ South Lake High School (at the field area behind the high school)

• There is a VERY limited supply of school instruments available for use. Please come to the mandatory practice to retrieve an instrument if needed.

• Participants will be responsible for printing their own music, having their own flipbook/lyre

• Colorguard participants: same as instruments, we have a limited supply and will do our best to have a flag for participants

• Performance attire: we request that alumni participants wear a South Lake shirt if possible, or something that has either predominantly blue or yellow or both.

• All participants  Who march with the band gain free entry to the game on Friday, September 19th.
