Synopsis:
Firstly we will present slides on gender equality; for example, about why gender equality is important, When did the issue of gender equality start, What is gender equality. After the presentation, we will play a Kahoot game that is created by us about gender equality. If the guides answer incorrectly, we will explain to them the correct answer.

Synopsis:
To promote upcycling and teach participants how to give materials a new life. The product can also be used for participants to decorate their room.
Details:
Participants will learn to use recycled materials to make flowers. The product can also be used to decorate their room. Guides who create the most presentable floral initial decoration, using at least 3 recyclable materials to create different or same types of flowers, would be shortlisted. There will be 3 winners.
Participants must meet the following requirements:
Using at least 3 flowers (same/different) learnt over Zoom
Use of recyclable materials

1 cardboard of at least A4 size (eg. foolscap paper backing)
Newspapers, Magazines/Recycled paper/Colored paper

Synopsis:
To promote upcycling and teach participants how to give materials a new life. The product can also be used for participants to decorate their room.
Details:
The ICs will provide a short briefing, explaining the game to the participants, these instructions will also be included in the participant’s deck of slides.
The Guides/Brownies will be given one hour to complete a series of tasks related to the theme of Environment and Gender Equality.
As they complete each task, they will receive a “piece” of the puzzle (in the form of a part of a picture). Each puzzle piece is worth 5 points, and the aim is to accumulate the most points by the end of the time limit. (If participants are able to piece together the puzzle together before the time ends, their remaining time will be converted to points(1 min=1 point)
Every 30 seconds or so, ICs should switch to another participant’s slides, and depending on the number of total participants, the ICs should go in a circle, and return to the same participant in 3-5 minutes.
After the time elapses, the Guides/Brownies will piece the puzzle pieces together and add their completed puzzle in the final slide.
After the entire activity, the Guide/Brownie with the most points wins.
Submission:
Participants are to submit their work in their personal set of google slides in a google folder, provided to them by the ICs. They should name their slides as School_Coy_Name_Lost in the Woods. (e.g. ABC Sec_Coy 1_EFG_Lost in the Woods)

Make an online poster advocating for gender equality in pairs (45 minutes)
Trivia quiz (Kahoot) in groups on topic of Gender Equality (5 minutes)

The digital learning device is only to be used for accessing the appropriate websites
Font size minimum 13.
Only digital posters are allowed (no physical posters or materials needed). This is to adhere with current safe management measures and to ensure no wastage of materials!

Submission:
One person in each pair is to submit their poster in a google form, to prevent the submitters from seeing each others’ works and potentially tampering with them.
Poster submissions will be graded with reference to the rubrics above. Participants who made it to the podium during the Kahoot quiz (meaning the top 5 scorers) will get bonus points during the judging of poster submissions. The top 3 pairs with the highest marks will be designated as the winners of the competition.

Synopsis:
Gartic Telephone is an online game that mixes Pictionary with the Telephone game. Players will draw what they see, and guess what they saw!
Details:
Guides will be sent to breakout rooms through zoom
There will be 3 rounds in this game.
Invitation links will be sent to the players through Zoom.
The level of difficulty will increase with each round for an added challenge.
Once each round is completed, players will get to view the submission of each player and the original statement that is related to Guiding.
Points will be awarded for guessing correctly for the previous player's drawing.
The winners will be revealed after all 3 rounds.

Synopsis:
Guides will participate in team work to solve the clues which will be given in statements related to the 5-point programme. The answers to these clues will create the mystery word related to Guiding.
Details:
Each school can only submit 1 entry.
For schools which registered, a google form link will be sent to them.
In the form, blanks for students to fill in their answers to the clues statements shared by the Beatty Guides via zoom. These clue statements are associated with the 5-point programme and the initials of the answers to the clues will help the guides solve the mystery word. The last question will be on solving the mystery word related to guiding:
Input the answers to the ‘clue’ statements in google form and answer the final questions which is a mystery word related to Guiding.
Our Guide unit will be monitoring which are the top 3 Units in the Brownie and Guide category that have completed solving the mystery word. They’ll be the winners of the competition.

Synopsis:
Participants will be learning the technique of paper quilling and how to create simple designs. At the end of the session, they will be creating a design according to the theme of “Our World, Our Environment” using the paper quilling techniques that they have learnt.
Details:
Contestants must use a minimum of 3 different types of colour paper.
The final artwork should be no bigger than A5-sized.
Contestants may use any other art materials to complete the artwork.
Day of competition:
The contestants will be guided over a zoom session on how to cut their colour paper and quill them. There will be a paper quilling handout given to the participants incorporating step by step instructions on what to do.
They will also be required to write a 50-words write-up to explain how their art works reflect the theme “Our World, Our Environment”.
Judging Criteria:

QTSS Guides will share how an old tshirt and a bangle can be used to make a simple DIY dream catcher. At the end of the session, participants will create their own dream catcher and submit a photo of it for judging.

Synopsis:
Inspired by Wordle.
What Word? is a word puzzle for students to guess any 3 to 7-letter word related to guiding and the 5 point programme with a default of 6 attempts. After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to give you clues to the actual word. If it is green, it means the letter is in the word and is in the correct spot. If it is yellow, it means the letter is in the word but in the wrong spot. If it is gray, it means the letter is not in the word at all.
This game will be prepared via Deck Toys
Judging Criteria:
As this is a competition, participants who guess the most words in the fastest time, will win.

Round 3: is is more of a quiz of varying knots and lashing

Synopsis:
The escape room will allow the Guides to be able to work in teams. They will have to solve a puzzle that involves basic knowledge of what they have learnt in schools (e.g. Math or English questions) in order to successfully solve and escape out of the puzzle.
Details:
Participants are allowed to work in teams.
Participants are also allowed to surf the internet during the games in order to find out about certain information related to the question.
Participants have to ensure that they answer all the questions with the correct answer before proceeding on to the next question.
First 3 teams that finish the fastest would be declared the winner.
Pre-competition:
Participants do not have to prepare anything
Participants are to ensure that they have a functioning Gmail account so that they would be able to access the google form through which they would be playing the escape room.
Participants are to also ensure that they have a zoom account with stable internet connection to ensure that they are able to play the game smoothly.
Day of competition:
Participants are to log into the zoom session that is provided to them in order for them to play the game.
The game masters would provide the participants with an overview of the game and the instructions as to how they are to play the game.
Following which, the game masters would then open up various breakout rooms for the respective schools to join.
In the breakout rooms, the teams are to work together to solve the escape room puzzle.
The 3 teams that get all the questions correct in the fastest span of time would be declared the winner.
