Synopsis:
Create a robot using biodegradable materials. AI Robot Helper in keeping the environment green.
Details:
Think of a creative name for your robot and in a few words tell us what it can do by submitting a write-up of not more than 50 words.
Brownies need to use their own materials to create the robot. Creation needs to start from RAW materials.
Examples of raw materials – cardboxes, paper bags, strings, old clothings, socks, wooden pegs, ice-cream sticks, newspaper , magazine, tapes, glues, scissors, toilet rolls, tissue boxes, cutters, markers, drink cans and so on.

Synopsis:
Unleash your creativity as you design your very own Handprint Pledge! On an A4 sized paper, Brownies will design their “Our World Pledge” by first outlining the shape of their hand. Then, using the colours green and blue (to represent the Earth), Brownies are to colour/ design their handprint. Brownies are to add their Pledge(s) into their design on how they can maintain the health of our environment and/or take on issues on gender equality. You have have 5 Pledges, one for each finger! Finally, Brownies are to poke two holes at the top of their artwork, thread a string through it and hang it up!
Details:
Outline your handprint on a piece of A4 paper/ art block paper.
Design and colour it using the colours blue and green, according to the theme “Our World”.
You may use any medium of colour on your design (colour pencils/ water colours/ crayons/ markers/ food colouring).
Include your Pledge(s) into your design.
Poke two holes at the top of your artwork.
Thread a string/ thread through the holes and hang it up!
Take a picture of your art piece and submit it on the given Google Drive link.

Synopsis:
Participants are required to choose a theme: saving the environment or promoting gender equality. They will be designing a physical short comic about their selected theme.
Details:
The materials used for the comic strip should be environmentally- friendly (e.g. recycled paper).
The comic strip should either be about gender equality or the environment. Refer to link for example.
There should be at least 12 boxes (of any visible size) in the comic strip.
The plot, characters and drawings of the comic strip should be original and not plagiarized from anywhere else.

Synopsis:
A photography competition that allows Brownies and Guides to channel their creativity into expressing their interpretation of the theme. This also allows them to become more aware of issues such as environmental degradation or gender equality in their community.
Details:
Take at least 2 photographs. There should be at least one photo about Gender Equality and at least one photo about The Environment.
The photos are up to the participant’s interpretations of the two themes, Gender Equality and The Environment.
Participants are to come up with a title they deem fitting for each photo.

Synopsis:
Brownies/Guides are to work together in pairs, and create a piece of artwork. The artwork can be in either hardcopy or through digital platforms such as Canva. One half of the artwork should include pictures/drawings of what the Gender Equality and Environment in our world looks like today. The other half of the artwork should show what an ideal Gender Equality and Environmental situation looks like in our World. On top of the artwork submitted, Brownies/Guides are to submit a short write up of no more than 80 words on how they can contribute to moving towards the ideal situation in their artwork.
Details:
If participants choose to create their artwork online, they will be required to have a digital device that allows them to access design websites such as Canva. Examples include a working laptop, tablet or iPad.
If participants prefer to create a physical artwork, they will be required to have at least a single sheet of paper, and decorative materials such as markers and stickers.
Participants are to form pairs and create an artwork that relates to the themes of Gender Equality and the Environment.

Synopsis:
The Great Virtual Mental Obstacle Course is a google form where great, intellectual Guides and Brownies set foot on an (virtual) arduous mental journey, putting their Brownie and Guiding skills and general knowledge to the ultimate test.
It will be held on a Google Form containing 2 sections:
A hands-on upcycling activity to help save the environment (rubrics attached below)
A Kahoot quiz to test basic first aid knowledge (automatically marked by Kahoot)
The link to the Kahoot will be updated regularly on the google form as the Kahoot game expires every month. Scores will be kept track of in a google sheet: Kahoot Scores

Synopsis:
Students will have to “guess” words related to guiding (inspired by Wordle).
Example: CAMPFIRE
Details:
Each school can only submit 1 entry.
For schools which registered, a google form link will be sent to them.
In the form, there are multiple puzzles for students to guess the correct words.
Students are to:

Screen shot the results and upload on to the google form.
If there are multiple schools which have the same score, the team which can find the answers the fastest will win. (Thus, important to screenshot the results page as it will reflect the amount of time taken to solve the puzzle).

Synopsis:
Guides are to create a work of art using fruit and/or vegetable prints according to the theme of “Our World, Our Environment” and explain their work briefly with an accompanying 50-word write-up.
Details:
Contestants must use a minimum of 3 different types of fruits/vegetables (from leftover fruit/vegetable cuttings e.g. the ends of the fruit/vegetable or skin)
The final artwork should be no bigger than A3-sized

Synopsis:
Guides have to complete some activities to obtain clues and follow them to the end. Along the way, guides will learn the importance of gender equality and caring for the environment.
Details:
Follow the instructions for each activity which can be found in the slides/ docs shared. After completing each activity, insert the answer of that activity in this format:

Details:
A color wheel is a chart that helps artists use color families in their work. The colors of the color wheel are organized in the same order as the rainbow. Look around your house/school for objects in primary and secondary colors. Then arrange them in a circle in the correct order. (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet). Take a picture of your arrangement.
You will then create a radiating design, quilt square design, or mandala using your favorite color family or color relationship. (E.g. Complementary colors are across from each other on a color wheel. Analogous colors are located next to each other on the color wheel.)
