Postdoctoral candidates: Motivated and independent individuals with passion for research and proven track record in their PhD research with Material Science/ Chemistry/ Chemical engineering background and previous experience in catalysis, energy and device/reactor engineering are welcome. You are also encouraged to apply for institute and national postdoctoral fellowships. Currently looking for IPDF and MNRE-PDF fellows (applications through department/institute)

PhD Students: We have several openings for Ph.D. students on various exciting projects. Students (having qualified NET/GATE/CSIR/INSPIRE fellowships) with strong academic backgrounds in materials science/chemistry/physics/chemical engineering  are encouraged to apply through IIT-K PhD admissions application portal. Prior knowledge or experience in related research areas are encouraged but not mandatory, as long as you are ready to learn new things & explore unchartered waters. 

M.Tech/B.Tech/BS-MS students: If you are studying at IIT-Kanpur and are motivated to do a project in our group, please drop me an email. Having some knowledge of related research areas is useful, but not mandatory. You can actively take part in a wide range of problems that our group is working on (check Research ). Also, please feel free to bring in new, exciting and challenging research ideas that you want to try out and we would provide you a dynamic research platform to explore those and help achieve your career goals.
