ABOUT THE ARTIST

Izzy is a multidisciplinary artist whose work varies from video, performance and sculptural installation, to painting, drawing and printwork. Her work explores organic forms and looks at themes of fragility, living and non-living, and connection.

Izzy creates her abstracted and sometimes conceptual work through finding inspiration in organic forms and by delving deep into life's complexities.

She enjoys experimenting with both new and found materials. Through working with the materials natural malluabilities and working intuitively, it allows her to create strongly instinctual and personal pieces.

In her large scale installations and interactive works, Izzy encourages the audience to immerse themselves in the work, aiding to a deeper, personal connection and understanding of both the art and themselves as a living being.
