As a court certified translator for the Czech and English languages, I offer you a certified translation of various documents for official purposes.
In some cases you might need to provide courts or administrative authorities with a translation of official documents issued in another language. Czech autorities require documents to be translated into Czech by a court certified translator.
The most commonly translated documents include birth, marriage and death certificates, school certificates and university diplomas, statements of criminal records, statements of the Commercial Register, trade licence certificate, powers of attorney, commercial contracts, tax documents, court judgments, etc.
Original documents or notary authenticated copies (sometimes simple copies are sufficient) are inseparably connected to the translation to which the court certified translator attaches his stamp, signature and translator’s clause. The original documents will become part of the translation. If you do not want to lose the original documents, it is appropriate to have its copies authenticated by a notary.
Before you request a translation, it is advisable to contact the relevant authority which requires the certified translation in order to determine what form of the document needs to be submitted (an original, an authenticated or a simple copy). In some cases, authorities might also require documents to bear an apostille or superlegalization.
Documents for translation bearing all of the required authenticating stamps can be send to me via e-mail or databox. I will appreciate any additional information (preferred delivery date, request for an apostille or superlegalization, etc.). I will promptly send you a quote and estimated delivery date. The price is contractual and calculated per standard page. Once the translation is ready, we will arrange the handover of the documents for translation. I will then compare the documents with the translation, print and attach them together.
