My name is Gabby Soto I am from South Bend, Indiana and I am currently living in Indianapolis where I attend Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. I am an undergraduate student of the Fairbank's School of Public Health, by 2023 I hope to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Health Services Management and minor in Environmental Health. I hope to work in a non-clinical healthcare setting in the future whether that be a hospital, nursing home, or clinic. I have always enjoyed helping people and gained an interest in healthcare during my senior year of high school. Throughout high school I played soccer all four years and three of those years being the team captain. I love working with my peers and being a team player.

During my time at IUPUI I have engaged in several different organizations on campus. My freshman year I was a member of the pre-dental club, VIDA Health Partnerships club, and ALDPES National Honor Society. This year I hold executive positions in both VIDA and ALDPES, I serve as the Vice President of Phi Eta Sigma and Director of Management for VIDA. On my free time last year I volunteered bi-weekly at The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana on Limestone as a guest services volunteer. Unfortunately I have not been able to volunteer this year after COVID-19 happened, but I do hope to return to my position when availability arises.
