ICT instructor (2019- till now)
Working with DCT as a course instructor in a highly reputable collage offer me an enriching experience that enhances both professional skills and educational practices. Here's what I learned and gained from this experience:
Navigating and utilizing Moodle’s extensive tools—like quizzes, assignments, forums, and gradebooks—helped me become proficient in managing an advanced learning management system (LMS).
Moodle allowed me to organize content systematically using topics, modules, or weekly formats, improving my ability to plan and structure lessons effectively.
I became adept at using Moodle’s analytics tools to monitor student progress, identify areas where learners struggled, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Working with Moodle taught me how to seamlessly blend online and in-person teaching or create flipped classroom models, providing flexibility for students.
Sharing resources and creating co-authoring collaborative activities for my students like constructing a Glossary for ICT terms and definitions that all the students patriciate in.
Using Microsoft Forms in 365 to create quizzes with immediate feedback as a learning resource is a handy tool to create self-paced activity that students practice self study and autonomy
