Ecophysiology and Biologging in a colony of Snow Petrels in Terre Adélie, Antarctica; Ecophysiology, Ecotoxicology and Behavior in a captive population of House Sparrows at the CEBC/CNRS; Behavior and Population reinforcement by reintroductions in rodents; Cognition and Ecophysiology in Microcebes; Bioacoustic analyses and Behavior in a wild population of Blackcaps.
Socioecology
Analyzing people discourse according to personal experience, thanks to semi-opening interviews, regarding the legitimacy of reintroduction/presence and utility of European Beaver in the Moselle department (France).
Ecophysiology measurements
Morphometric measurements: beak, tarsus and wing length in birds; Blood samples: collected from brachial vein (birds) and sublingually (rodents); Telomere and corticosterone measurement: PCR, Southern blot and radioimmunoassay; Energy expenditure: Resting, basal and thermoregulatory metabolism in birds and Microcebes.
Behavioral ecology
Temperament: neophobia, neophilia, exploration behavior, discriminatory test, escape and tonic immobility in birds and rodents; Cognition: spatial memory, cognitive discrimination, foraging problem-solving tasks in birds and Microcebes; Behavior: Parental investment during incubation and rearing periods, playback experiments in birds.
