Finding and eye for print culture, I'd found myself captured by the bins of postcards found at flea markets. The familiarity of these visuals holds meaning not just for me, but for every individual before who might have handled this 4 by 6 inch portion of cardstock. Snippets of correspondence make a profound connection across people, space and time.

At the DesBrisay Museum I was approached to make a display of scanned postcards from the many in the collection for exhibit: Winters of Days Gone By. This was part of a section featuring a writing desk complete with a quill and ink. It was really only part way through curating this that I'd realized just how much life had seamlessly led me to this point.
