About me
I am a found object assemblage artist and jewelry maker based on Vancouver Island.
In my artistic exploration on Vancouver Island, where the rhythm of the ocean dictates life, my practice has evolved to embrace the ebb and flow of the tides. Found and foraged elements, once discarded and adrift, now find new purpose in my hands, transformed from harmful ocean debris into unique and meaningful pieces of art.
These fragments, touched by the sea, reveal the island's essence and the intertwined lives of its inhabitants. I collage these materials, shaping them into textured narratives that speak of resilience, community, and the ever-changing dance between nature and humanity.
