My philosophy of counseling is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and the belief that healing begins with genuinely feeling seen, heard, and understood without judgement. I believe every person carries a unique story shaped by their past experiences, relationships, environment, and personal struggles - and that each of us have the inherent power to confront those, reshape them, and reach a higher sense of self. Therapy should provide a safe and supportive space to explore these experiences with compassion and curiosity.
As a counselor in training, I am drawn to psychodynamic approaches, trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and cognitive processing that help individuals better understand the deeper patterns influencing their emotions, behaviors, and relationships. I believe growth occurs through self-awareness, emotional and cognitive processing, and the development of healthier coping strategies that foster resilience and personal empowerment.
My goal as a therapist is to create a therapeutic environment build on trust, collaboration, and emotional safety while supporting clients in a reconstructing their narrative in ways that promote healing, insight, and long-term growth. I strive to approach each individual with openness, cultural sensitivity, genuiness, and respect for their lived experiences.
