Scalable wireless systems for 6G networks
Scalable wireless systems for 6G networks
My research focuses on scalable wireless network architectures for next-generation communication systems.
I study how distributed wireless infrastructures can coordinate efficiently under limited information exchange, dynamic user distributions, and practical deployment constraints.
Cell-Free massive MIMO is a promising architecture for future wireless systems, but its scalability is limited by cooperation overhead, distributed processing constraints, and performance degradation near CPU boundaries. My research addresses these issues by designing scalable resource allocation and cooperation mechanisms based on large-scale channel information.
LEO satellite networks are becoming an important infrastructure for wide-area and global connectivity. However, large satellite constellations introduce challenges in dynamic topology management, inter-satellite routing, ground-station connectivity, and control overhead.
I also investigate AI/ML-based approaches for intelligent wireless network control. This includes reinforcement learning based access control, AI-driven MAC design, communication-efficient federated learning, and learning-based traffic analysis.
