Omnibus

Sentinel of Form and harbinger of the unknown

The wardens hold an odd ability within them, the ability to alter souls. This trait is most commonly used by Serphelius and Farhaus, but the others also utilise it at times. Commonly it is merely used to give gifts to creatures they are fond of, such as better strength or health, but it requires that part of them is removed. Nothing can be added without an equal amount being removed, balance must be maintained.

An example of this is Wixpectr’os. Many countless years ago Mors'vuhk grew fond of a small creature which had strayed to their shrine. Time spent with it was joyous, but short, as it soon fell victim to the overwhelming heat of the volcano and perished. Mors'vuhk couldn’t stand for this though, and chose instead of letting it rest to rather imbue it with some of their power, allowing them to continue their existence in death. It became a spectre, forever haunting the shrine, as it knew not of what it was. To give it their power, Mors'vuhk had to remove all its memories to make space.

Different wardens prefer to do it in different ways, and Omnibus prefers to remove parts of their soul. Not just memories, but the soul itself. But what do they do with the leftover soul? Simple, give it to another creature. But then that creature needs to have part of their soul removed, and so on and so on. Omnibus is the cause of a large amount of identity problems. Including Kozmo. 

Kozmo was a special case, more of a test than anything, Omnibus wanted to see what would happen if two souls were combined, then split and returned. The result was interesting, but certainly not balanced. Kozmo was left hollow, having had many emotions and aspects of his soul drained, meanwhile the Shararook was too full. Full of emotions: rage, jealousy, fear. She was left with all that Kozmo had lost, resulting in a mess of a creature. 

The Sentinel of Balance, Serphelius, was not happy about the existence of these unbalanced creatures and wished to just remove them from existence to avoid any hassle. It’s yet to succeed.
