Our Vision
The Vision of the Somerset County Democrats is a society guided by the principles of democracy, equality, and justice, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive....regardless of who you are, what you believe, or where you live.
Our Mission
Our Mission
The mission of the Somerset County Democrats is to inform individuals about the values of the Democratic Party, promote civic engagement, and advance policies that align with the Democratic Creed. We are working to make Somerset County a better place to live for each and every individual and family.
We stand strongly behind the Maine Democratic Party Platform .
The Somerset County Democratic Committee collaborates closely with the Maine State Democratic Party. This partnership is pivotal in engaging volunteers and conducting grassroots organizing efforts within our communities. By joining our County Committee, you can directly contribute to our shared mission of advancing Democratic values and initiatives at both the local and state levels. It's a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact and strengthen our party's presence across Somerset County.
If you are a registered Democrat or an unenrolled voter who shares our values, and you are a resident of Somerset County, we invite you to become a member of our Committee! Reach out to us to find out more! Email us at somersetcountydemsme@gmail.com
