About Stacie W. Somerset

Hello, and thank you for your interest in Somerset Pet Sitting! I am an alumni of Ohio University who moved from Texas to Ohio to get a PhD in creative writing. I started this pet-sitting business to help fund my studies during the summer and winter breaks, but I am happy to watch your pets any time year-round!

I have taken care of all kinds of animals over the years, from dogs and cats to rodents, fish, and reptiles. I volunteered at an animal shelter for two years while getting my Bachelor's degree, and I started working as a dog walker for Wag while pursuing my Master's degree. I love all kinds of animals and am open to working with unique species. I have specifically cared for: Russian tortoises, box turtles, bearded dragons, betta fish, goldfish, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, and all kinds of dogs & cats.
