I am thrilled to be a part of the Somers Cooperative Preschool. I live in Ellington and am a mom to four daughters (age 15-25). I have 16 years of experience teaching preschool aged children and believe play is a wonderful way to support a child’s natural social, emotional and academic development.  I have my master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from The University of St. Joseph, am a designated Director and Head Teacher from The Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. I am fully certified in CPR, medication administration and first aide. When not in the classroom, I’m an active volunteer for Camp Woodstock and my church. I also love music, cooking and travel. I look forward to sharing my love for learning with the members of the Somers Cooperative Preschool community!
