Mutations

Mutations are things that a character is born with, Commonly things that don't always affect their life but affects their appearance. Be aware if you do chose a mutation that will impact their day-to-day life.

Albinism

A cat with a lack of pigment in their skin causing a snowy white pelt and red, pink or blue eyes.These cats can also suffer from having hearing/sight loss or fully Deaf/blind.

Chimera

A cat with two different genes mashed together, often found with half a black face and half a ginger tabby with heterochromia eyes.

Leucism

When a cat loses pigment in their skin which creates a white, pale or patchy coloration in the skin or pelt. It however doesn't mess with the eyes.

Born without a limb

A mutation which ends up causing a kit to be born without a leg, eye, tail, etc.

Dwarfism

Cats who have a gene that makes them much smaller then a average cat

Gigantism

Cats who have a gene that makes them much larger than a average cat.

Sphynx/Loki Genetics

Genes of cat who have oddities with their fur. These can be either fully hairless or hair missing on their face around the eyes and nose, giving them a 'werewolf' look.

Identical Siblings

Two siblings in a litter born looking exactly the same.

Extra Limb

Where a kit is born with commonly an extra leg, rarely a nose/snout however they are unable to survive.

Overbite/ Underbite

A deformity that causes the cat's upper or lower jaw to stick out farther then its suppose to, this leaves where the teeth show over the front of their lips/chin.Can commonly give them difficulties when eating.

Overgrown Fangs

Fangs that are longer then usual and longer then little Snaggle fangs. Overgrown fangs can be broken easier the normal and cause biting to sometimes be a tad more difficult.

Polydactyl

A cat born with six toes on one or more paws.

Blind

A cat born with clouded eyes, inability to see.

Lazy eye

A cat with a eye that is stuck in a direction and has issues moving it. Commonly one eye works but the other is always looking the wrong way. This can cause vision issues, depth perception being off, ect.

Cross Eyed /Exotropia

here a cats eyes are either pointed inward more towards their nose or pushed outward from it. They aren't perfectly centered. This can cause vision issues.

Deaf

A cat born with the inability to hear.

These cats are very rare and are commonly infertile however a even rarer chance they can be fertile.

A cat who has eyes with different colors. These cats can have partial sight loss.

Mute

A cat who chooses or medically can not speak.Mutes can make soft noises/grunts ect but never form words.

Is a cat who was once or is a house cat who has only one breed of cat in them.

Deformities

Deformities are traits that a character develops over time. These heavily impact the character as a whole.

Blind

A cat who has lost their sight over time.

Broken Back

A cat whom's spine has been injured or grown wrong and affects their daily life.

Deaf

A cat who has lost their hearing over time.

Declawed

A cat who has had their claws removed.

Medium Injuries

An injury that affects a cat some but doesn't create the need to retire from their work. example, blinded in one eye, losing hearing in an ear, etc.

Large Injuries

large injury that could cause a cat to retire. A fully non-functional leg, Torn out eyes, ect.

Missing Limb

A cat whom has lost a body part they once had.

cat who lost their ability to speak, Damaged Vocal cords.

Illnesses

These are things that weigh heavy on a character's mind. Mental illnesses are able to be appear at any point in a cats life while Physical Illnesses begin at birth, but may be seen later in life.

Please do research before giving a character one of these. It must be approved by an admin.

Mental Illness

A cat who suffers from a mental issue and heavily affects them.

A cat who has a physical illness, such as a progressing disease without a cure and isn't contagious.
