Size Range: From tiny pinkies (1–3 g) to adults (~25–35 g).
Protein: Lower compared to rats and ASF, but easy to digest perfect for younger or smaller snakes.
Rats
Best for: Growing Ball Pythons, larger Corn Snakes, Kingsnakes, Boas.
Size Range: Pinkies (5 g) up to large adults (200–300 g+).
Protein: Higher than mice, supports fast growth and muscle development.
African Soft Fur (ASF)
Best for: Ball Pythons (especially picky eaters), medium Kingsnakes & Corn Snakes.
Size Range: Pinkies (1–3 g) to Jumbo adults (~70–85 g).
Protein: Richer in protein and fat compared to mice/rats, making them excellent for weight gain and breeding snakes.
