Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Solurexa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
These terms apply to all users of the Solurexa mobile application.
Eligibility
Solurexa is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Description of Service
Solurexa is a UV index tracking and personalized tanning planning application. The app provides UV forecasts based on your location, tanning window recommendations based on skin type, SPF guidance, and UV/weather insights.
UV and weather data are sourced from Open-Meteo, a third-party weather service.
Health & Safety Disclaimer
Solurexa does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app is intended for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
If you have concerns regarding UV exposure, tanning, skin sensitivity, or skin health, consult a qualified dermatologist or medical professional.
UV exposure carries inherent health risks, including sunburn, skin damage, premature aging, increased skin cancer risk, and eye damage.
Tanning windows and estimated exposure times are based on general Fitzpatrick skin type models. Individual results may vary significantly.
Always use sunscreen even within estimated safe windows, seek shade if discomfort or burning occurs, wear UV-protective eyewear, and follow guidance from healthcare professionals and local health authorities.
No Guarantee of Safe Tanning
Solurexa does not guarantee prevention of sunburn or skin damage, safe tanning outcomes, any specific health result, accuracy or completeness of UV forecasts, or that recommendations will be appropriate for your individual skin sensitivity.
All tanning windows, burn estimates, and SPF recommendations are estimates only and should not be relied upon as guarantees of safety.
User Responsibility
By using Solurexa, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are solely responsible for decisions regarding your sun exposure.
Recommendations are estimates only.
Real-world UV conditions may differ from forecasts.
Environmental factors such as clouds, altitude, reflective surfaces, and pollution may affect UV intensity.
Skin sensitivity varies between individuals and may change over time.
You assume full responsibility for any consequences arising from your use of the app.
Subscription & Payments
Solurexa Premium is available as a paid subscription through the Apple App Store.
Billing
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the active billing period.
Restore Purchases
Previously purchased subscriptions may be restored using the “Restore Purchases” option within the app.
Refunds
Refunds are handled solely by Apple in accordance with Apple’s refund policies.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Users will be notified before any pricing changes take effect.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the app for unlawful purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the app
Interfere with app servers or networks
Use the app in ways that may harm others
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for users who violate these terms.
Intellectual Property
Solurexa and all related content, branding, features, and functionality are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Third-Party Services
Solurexa relies on third-party services including:
Open-Meteo (weather and UV data)
RevenueCat (subscription management)
Apple App Store (payment processing)
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
Service interruptions affecting these providers may temporarily impact app functionality.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee that:
The app will always function without interruption
UV data will always be accurate or current
The app will meet every user’s expectations or requirements
Forecast accuracy may vary due to local environmental conditions and third-party data limitations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solurexa and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or health-related damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to sunburn, skin damage, allergic reactions, or health complications related to UV exposure.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the app or subscription during the previous 12 months.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Users are encouraged to review these terms regularly.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
