The Solo Club is a private, members-only social club for single people age 21 and over and their bonafide guests. We are a non-profit entity recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)7 service organization qualifying as a Social Club. Our primary mission is to provide social opportunities for single people in the Albuquerque metropolitan area through various scheduled activities and events. Membership fees are $50 per year for a single individual. Potential members may obtain an application at the Club.
Solo Club is designated by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)7 service organization. Because our members receive something in exchange for their donations, they are NOT tax deductible.
Based on the Club’s official Charter, we are assembled for the purpose of providing activities for single individuals. Married couples should NEVER be invited to the Club unless it is an Open House event (like the Battle of the Bands) or they are from out of town. Please check with an Officer to avoid problems when you arrive.
The Solo Club organization includes its Charter, Bylaws, House Rules, Standing Rules, Election Procedures, and Grievance Procedures. When you join the Club, you should receive a packet with most of these documents. We are in the process of placing them on our Google Site for easy access.
