NTNU MSc Recruitment video
(In Norwegian only)
This video documents our action-based project looking at measures to support diversity in recruitment and retention, with particular focus on gender (quantum condensed matter physics at NTNU currently employs 10 male and 0 female professors). I was on the project board, and would happily share experiences and suggestions.
I've given numerous public talks, school visits and Q&As about everything from particulars in theoretical physics to fighting for funding, implicit bias and ideals in research, and being a @SpintronicMum.
Contact me if there's an event you'd like me to speak at.
My brother Paul writes and performs quantum physics-inspired experimental theatre along with other "pointed pointlessness" performances, and I've been glad to be an occasional physics consultant. Check them out in London or online (some interactive shows are available internationally). 5-star reviews!
