New EVGR Residences Spike Graduate Student Rent

Stanford has increased the percentage of income graduate students must spend on rent by 10% across all available (non-Munger and GSB) single graduate residences, spiking average rent by 16% or $203/month. Click here for our fact sheet.

2019 - Stanford's General Use Permit (GUP) Application WITHDRAWN

We stood in Solidarity with the many advocacy groups and communities demanding equity under and/or affected by the Stanford General Use Permit. We advocated that the definition of "affordable housing" built by Stanford for graduate student-workers be tied to their yearly stipends. See our statement here.
