The Soldano lab is part of the Neuroscience Department of SISSA,  a school dedicated to PhD student where training and reaserch go hand in hand. SISSA, founded in 1978, is a centre of eccellence with a strong international soul and it's a great place where to  do high quality science, in a stimulating environment. 

SISSA is located in the city of Trieste, a beautiful gem in Friuli Venezia Giulia, close to the Slovenian border, facing the Adriatic sea. Trieste sits in a very special position, between central and southern Europe, Italy and Slovenia, and  is a special mix  of different cultures, nationalities and traditions.
