"Life's not fun and games while you're here. We Outlaws work as a team, and you better be pullin' your weight!"
Whether an Outlaw chose to live the Outlaw lifestyle or the cruelty of the world brought you to the Bandit's Lair, you are now a part of an unlawful community that works together for survival.
Will your fellow Outlaws keep you from harm, or will they let you rot in Prison? Who knows!
Note All Outlaws living in the Bandit's Lair MUST pledge their loyalty to Boss Levi. After all, it's his turf and territory! Any sense of deception or mutiny will be dealt with... harshly.
Outlaws are a community, meaning that any upgrades for the Bandit's Lair are achieved by the community's contributions. The only upgrades that are solo are on an Outlaw's Living Space.
Together, the Lair's expansions include more mounts, food, supplies, drafts and more renovations to keep the Lair standing strong.
Information on Outlaw jobs can be found here.
This map represents the ruins located to the northeast outside of the walls of Solara Veil, where Outlaws are known to hide out in.
This map represents the cave system that's located underneath the surface level Bandit's Lair, and the entrance to this vast subterranean system is a closely guarded secret - protected by the threat of death!
Gaining supplies is a group effort! As more loot is stolen, more can be provided for your fellow Outlaws. However, because of this, supplies are limited and really depend on what's been brought back to the Lair... assuming the Outlaw chooses to share once they return back to the Lair, rather than being stingy and keeping it all to themselves!
Every Purchase will go into Funding the Lair's Draft Companions, Renovations and Upgrades.
New Outlaws can choose to sell in full (normal sale) or a partial sale (keep the item and gain 50% of coins)
Note Only Outlaws are permitted to Purchase from these Stores.
If a Solaran wishes to Purchase something more "shady", then they can check out the Dark Market, which is located at the surface level of the Bandit's Lair.
The Infirmary sells items that heal Injuries and increase the chance of Pregnancy.
More Info can be found here
Sells "shady" and "risky" items to both Outlaws and regular citizens.
More Info can be found here
The Item Shop sells general items that would be useful to all Outlaws, Taming, Romance and more!
The Canteen sells food and beverages that give an extra boost for Outlaws while they're out doing their banditry, or for Taming and whatnot.
Living in the Bandit's Lair isn't all satin pillows and bonbons. No! It's a cave, after all, and if an Outlaw wants comfort then they can tuck-tail and head to the Sundown Inn!
Outlaws can either sleep wherever there's a free spot, and the spots are free so don't worry about spending Coins... just yet, anyways. However! If an Outlaw chooses to leave, or is kicked out, their stuff doesn't go along with them! Any belongings that are left behind, stay behind!
Claiming a Living Space isn't exactly necessary, until an Outlaw decides that they want to expand and have more stuff. Space is needed for more stuff! It's up to an Outlaw to ensure none of their loot or gear gets stolen in the middle of the night or while the Outlaw is away from the Lair.
Think of it as... an Outlaw's safe spot, your property, per se.
Boss Levi doesn't care what the Outlaws do with their Living Spaces, so anyone can fancy it up, hoard too much loot, or do fuck-all with it. Bottom line, it's the Outlaws! However, with enough Coins, an Outlaw can expand their Living Space to allow for new features and more privacy.
Be creative with why your Outlaw lives where they do and the style of Living Space that they have!
To claim a Living Space lot, you simply need to create a Submission that depicts your Outlaw claiming their new Living Space. This could be them setting up their tent, standing unimpressed at their shanty living space or however you want! Have fun and be as creative as you want!
All Living Spaces come with an Old Tent - what this looks like is up to member interpretation.
The member sends a General Submission Form via the drop-down menu found in the Submit Mail channel on the Discord server. This will open a pop-up form to fill out.
In the form, the member must provide the link to their Tent Space depiction Submission and the member's choice of an Address. Please also include the name of your character and their Storage link.
Addresses can be chosen from the available lots on the Bandit Lair Map - check for availability before you post, because Living Spaces are first come, first served! Addresses are written like this: 16b
Wait for a mod to accept your Submission and confirm your character's new property. Once you get that confirmation, congratulations!
Your Outlaw is now a Tent owner and has somewhere to sleep!
Renovations, Upgrades and Draft Companions are all shared among the Outlaw community, meaning everyone must chip in to afford making the Bandit's Lair better than it ever was! The Coins required to afford making all the Communal Zone Upgrades can easily be donated by Outlaws from the loot that they "acquire" from either stealing or robbing from Solara Veil and travellers.
Mounts are shared among the Bandit's Lair, but not without a cost. Mounts that are doing a job are unavailable, and must be "checked out" before doing a job with a Bandit.
Whether it's because an Outlaw lazy or poor, the Old Tent that they've been sleeping in since they arrived to the Bandit's Lair won't keep standing forever. At some point, it will need to be Upgraded.
While the Living Space and Old Tent might have been free, fixing up the Old Tent certainly isn't! Fear not, as it'll only take some elbow grease and some good and honest work (which is a lot to ask for from an Outlaw, but suck it up) to patch up those holes and craft some new parts! In order to do that properly, an Outlaw will need to Commission a professional so that the work is done correctly, which means contacting the Crafters (which work exactly like Solara Veil's Architectural Guild)!
Of course, that would require Coins so save up some funds for your Living Space Upgrade!
Note Outlaw Living Space Renovations are commissioned through Crafters (which operate exactly like the Architectural Guild).
Note Living Space Renovations do NOT have to be done in order, but their requirements DO stack!
Ex) If an Outlaw has an Old Tent, but wants to Renovate it to an Impressive Shelter, they would need ALL of the requirements in between!
This means: 240 Coins and 75 Interaction Evidence
Old Tent - 1 Occupant - Starter (Free)
Fixed Tent - 1 Occupant - 30 Coins - 1 Month since Move-In Date OR 5 Interaction Evidence
Solid Shelter - 2 Occupants - 80 Coins - 3 Months since Move-In Date OR 10 Interaction Evidence
Expanded Shelter - 3 Occupants - 150 Coins - 5 Months since Move-In Date OR 20 Interaction Evidence
Impressive Shelter - 4 Occupants - 250 Coins - 12 Months since Move-In Date OR 40 Interaction Evidence
Note Adult NPCs count as Occupants, but Child NPCs do not.
Reminder Interaction Evidence can only be used once and not doubled-up between Living Space Renovations, Character Slots or Heart Events. See the Submissions page for more details.
If your Submission features your character interacting with an Outlaw/Outlaw NPC who relates to your Purchase, then your item's price will be reduced!
Why, you might be asking?!
Big Boss encourages interactions and creativity, that's why!
Also! Got extra items or want to give something to a friend? You can send them a Gift!
A member sends a Purchase Request via the drop-down menu found in the Submit Mail channel on the Discord server for a Renovation Commission. This will open a pop-up form to fill out.
In the form, the member will state either:
The required amount of time has passed since their last Renovation (see above)
Provide links to the required amounted of Interaction Evidence.
Provide a link to your Storage. Make sure the link is clickable!
Wait for a mod to review your request and confirm your character's House Renovation. Once you get that confirmation, congratulations! Your Outlaw is now the owner of a better Living Space!
In the Bandit's Lair, an Outlaw doesn't have to wait for Marriage to live with someone else. Be it a roommate, significant other, or a guest that never leaves, whatever the case may be up to four Outlaws can live together. However, the number of Occupants depends on how Renovated a Property is.
Having more people living together makes sense! Saves on costs and it's always nice to have someone to cuddle up against during the cold desert nights.
Note Once Cohabitation begins, the original owner of the Living Space will be listed as the Main Owner and all costs and how those costs are paid for must be discussed amongst members and outlined in the related Mail.
In order for characters to move in with one another, both members must have discussed and agreed this beforehand!
Once a decision has been made, a Submission is required that depicts all involved Outlaws moving into the prime residence (however that might look like). This could be two separate pieces, a collaboration, or a RP Record of at least 2,000 words that must be submitted to the Submit Channel of the Discord. To check what qualifies as a Submission, check the Submissions page.
These requirements CAN be supplied with a New Character's Application, if members have discussed beforehand that the New Character is moving to Solara Veil to live with an already established Character at their Property Address.
Provide a link to the Storages of the members involved. Make sure the links are clickable!
Wait for a mod to accept your Submission and confirm your characters' new Cohabitation status. Once you get that confirmation, congratulations! Your characters now live together on the same property!
What does this mean? Well... besides having someone to say good morning to each day, now you both can save on costs! All members can now contribute towards Living Space Renovations! Hurray!
Outlaw or not, a home sometimes includes the company of a Companion, who can be their best friends, help the Outlaw steal or act as a distraction. Or maybe an Outlaw wants their own Mount instead?
Regardless, Companions are found out in the wild and every species come with their own set of difficulty levels, especially depending on their Evolution Stage.
Unlike the Companions over in Solara Veil, Adventure Guilders aren't required by Outlaws when they travel far from the Bandit's Lair in their pursuit fora new Companion... as long as they are riding a Mount, that is. However, having more Outlaws and Loyal Companions to assist while out on a journey makes Taming a potential Companion a whole lot easier.
Note The same Tamable Pokémon List for Solara Veil is used for the Outlaws, however the need for escorts is ignored.
For more information on Pokémon Companions, check here!
Got a Companion but want it to do a different job?
Well to get them trained, go see Boss Levi! He's got lots of skills, so her can handle the Training!
He'll charge you 50 Coins regardless, though!
See here for more details!
Living underground has its perks. No need to worry about Bad Weather (other than Flash Floods), but Damage can still occur to the Communal Zone above ground, which will halt all the progress!
Speaking of which, have too many Companions in a Living Space? Well... better ask the Crafters to make a Pokémon House (again, same rules as Solara Veil's Architectural Guild).
So let's say there's Damage, now what?
If an Outlaw with a Damaged Living Space, or when the Communal Zone is Damaged, not as many Coins can be earned from Submission. Good work comes with a good night's sleep, after all! How can anyone expect to work efficiently with a soggy bed or less food?
If a Living Space is Damaged, or if the Communal Zone is Damaged, the percentage of Damage is assigned randomly (with a chance of there being no Damage at all) and a certain percentage of Coins will be lost for Everyday Submissions until the Damage is Repaired.
Thankfully! There are ways to Repair the Damage done to a Living Space and/or Communal Zone!
Either by Paying for the Repair (works just like Commissioning the Architectural Guild)
OR
Get together as a community and work together (Collab Submissions) to help each other Repair their Living Spaces and/or the Communal Zone!
