Sola Power Throwing Academy has been in our community since 2010. We are located on the corner of Randwick Road and Whites Line East, in Lower Hutt, on land provided to us by the Hutt City Council.

The academy aims to provide a high-quality training facility and a high standard of coaching for the wider Wellington Region for Athletic Field events. Sola Power Throwing Academy is the only one of its kind in the Wellington Region, and there is only one other facility like it in NZ which is based in Auckland. 

The academy welcomes new members regularly and coaches the fundamentals of the sport right through to elite-level athletics.
