I am a passionate machine leraning researcher, working everyday towards betterment. I like teaching and mentoring, also I love reading and movie.

I born and brought up in a suburbs, 25 km outside of Kolkata, India. Presently I live in Toronto, Canada. When I am not working, I try new culinary creations (soon there will be a page in this site), kitchen gardening (in summer), hiking, and traveling with my family.  

Today, what I am, or claim to be, is an effort of many people. I would like to thank my family, especially my wife, Mrinmoyee and my two sons, Sourik & Samridh, for always supporting me. Also, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to my supervisors, mentors and well-wishers.  We added another member to our family during Thanksgiving 2023, Little Master Samridh.
