Structure for the learning seminar:

We will meet once a week where one of us will present a portion of the weekly reading assignment. Everyone attending regularly is expected to read the material beforehand  and try their hands at the suggested problems. If you don't want to attend regularly, you're more than welcome to drop by to participate in the meeting.

Basic Road-map for this semester:

The end goal of this learning seminar is to learn about principal connections, linear connections and Chern-Weil theory. We will begin with a review of vector bundles and aim to finish chapter V through IX from the book GHV. The contents can be found here.
