From 19 to 23 April 2026, the Croatian SOFTA team, consisting of Dragana Jankov Maširević, Tibor Pogány, and Nataša Ujić, visited Vienna as part of the project’s scientific cooperation and mobility activities. The visit strengthened collaboration between the Croatian and Austrian partners and enabled the exchange of current research ideas in a stimulating academic environment. The programme was hosted at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Vienna, and carefully organised by Diana Stoeva, with valuable support from Hans G. Feichtinger. Austrian SOFTA team members also participating in the activities included Peter Balazs, Lenny Neyt, Jerielle Malonzo, Irina Shafkulovska, Monika Dörfler, and Daniel Abreu. A scientific seminar was held on 21 April and included two lectures: Average sampling restoration of harmonizable Piranashvili processes, delivered by T. Pogány, and On the distribution of sinusoidal signal combined with Gaussian noise, delivered by D. Jankov Maširević. The visit also included a project sessions in which SOFTA members presented their current research topics and broader scientific interests, as well as a visit to the exhibition Women in Science, displayed at the Faculty of Mathematics. Particular attention was given to the forthcoming meeting in Marseille, to be organised by the French team led by Bruno Torrésani in November 2026, as well as upcoming visits to Prague and Strobl connected with the conferences NAFSA13 and Strobl26. The Croatian team sincerely thanks the Austrian team for their generous hospitality, excellent organisation, and warm welcome, which made the visit both scientifically fruitful and personally memorable.

A joint online meeting of the leaders and members of the teams participating in the SOFTA project was held on 2 April 2026. The meeting was coordinated by Bruno Torrésani, who initiated the idea of establishing a regular online seminar series within the framework of the project. The seminar series, organised by Aix-Marseille Université, Institut de Mathématiques de Marseille, aims to strengthen scientific collaboration among SOFTA members and to include researchers whose scientific contributions may further support the exchange of knowledge and the development of new research ideas related to the project activities.
The programme began with short presentations of the participating teams, organised in alphabetical order according to the participating countries. Members who were not present were briefly introduced by their respective team leaders. The programme also included two short scientific talks. T. Poganj delivered a presentation entitled "Applications of GL Fractional Derivative in Analysis", while Professor H. G. Feichtinger gave a talk entitled "The usefulness of the Banach Gelfand Triple in various branches of mathematics, engineering and physics".
At the end of the meeting, B. Torrésani provided additional information regarding the upcoming SOFTA team meeting planned to take place in Marseille in November 2026.

The leaders of the Croatian, Czech, French, and Serbian SOFTA teams, together with Professor H. G. Feichtinger from the Austrian team, held a joint meeting via Zoom.
The discussion focused on the upcoming workshops planned within the SOFTA project, with particular attention given to the events scheduled to take place in Prague (https://www.nafsa13.cz/), Strobl (https://ps-mathematik.univie.ac.at/e/index.php?event=strobl26) and Marseille. Zdeněk Mihula, the leader of the Czech team, informed the participants that members of the SOFTA project interested in attending the NAFSA conference in Prague should contact him directly regarding further details.
Bruno Torrésani, the leader of the French team, spoke about the workshop planned to take place in Marseille between 16 and 20 November and asked all team leaders to send him, within one week, tentative titles and abstracts of the talks they plan to present at the workshop.
Bruno Torrésani also proposed the initiation of a joint online seminar involving all members of the SOFTA project. The first meeting was proposed for 2 April, 9 April, or 10 April and would include a general presentation of each participating team. Subsequent meetings are expected to feature research seminars related to the main topics of the project, presented by members of the teams. The launch of such a seminar series was considered a good opportunity for establishing stronger collaboration among the project members.
02-06/02/2026
Professor Feichtinger gave a talk in Plzen entitled "A Gauss-Gabor approach to Mild Distributions and Their Applications".
15-18/12/2025
Professor Feichtinger visited Prague, and gave a talk at the Seminar on Basic Properties of Function Spaces, organized by Zdenek Mihula and Luboš Pick. Several members of the Czech team attended the seminar and there joined discussion. Prof. Feichtinger gave the talk, entitled "The World of Function Spaces: Different Scenarios" on 17/12/2025.

The leaders of all five teams involved in the SOFTA project, together with Professor H. G. Feichtinger, held a joint meeting via Zoom.
The discussion focused on the upcoming workshops planned within the SOFTA project, with particular attention given to the events scheduled to take place in
Plzeň https://csasc2026.zcu.cz/,
Prague https://www.nafsa13.cz/, and
Strobl https://ps-mathematik.univie.ac.at/e/index.php?event=strobl26.
Considerable attention was devoted to the workshop scheduled to take place in Marseille in autumn 2026. The participants agreed to propose two possible time frames for this event: either 21–27 September 2026 or 17–23 November 2026.
Professor H. G. Feichtinger suggested that, in addition to members of the SOFTA team, experts working in related research areas should also be invited, in order to enrich the scientific programme. It was also concluded that an appropriate title for the workshop needs to be formulated.
Professor N. Teofanov proposed that the duration of the workshop be four days (three nights), while Professor Z. Mihula suggested that it can better be held in the second half of the week, to accommodate participants’ teaching commitments at their home institutions.
All participants committed to providing, by the end of the week, the number of people from their teams who would attend the workshop in Marseille, as well as the number of required single and double rooms, so that Professor B. Torrésani can begin the organizational arrangements. The price of a single room is €105, and the price of a double room is €85 per person.
16-21/11/2025
Peter Balazs visited Marseille.
19/11/2025
Pierre Warion defended PhD thesis entitled
"Non linear time-frequency transforms with adaptive windows".

The leaders of all five teams participating in the SOFTA project, together with Professor H. G. Feichtinger, held their first joint meeting via Zoom.
Since the conditions related to the co-funding of this international scientific research project differ across some of the participating countries, each representative first gave a short overview of the situation in their own country.
Following this, the participants discussed potential research visits – the project’s main activity aimed at fostering collaboration. It is agreed that the first meeting will take place in early October in Novi Sad, as stated in the project proposal.
The discussion then continued with plans for subsequent visits and opportunities for future scientific collaboration. The meeting proved to be both highly valuable and successful.
