The SOFTA project proposal seeks to bridge applied and theoretical mathematics in signal analysis through the innovative framework of Application-Oriented Harmonic Analysis, as developed and promoted by Prof. Hans G. Feichtinger, a key member of the team. By fostering collaboration across institutions and teams which are currently working independently, the project aims to stimulate novel research partnerships and produce impactful scientific contributions in both domains, thus strengthening the foundations of modern methods of data analysis.
