Robots LatAm is a community that seeks to promote robotics in Latin America.
Role: UX Researcher within a collaborative UX team made up of three people: a project leader, a UX Designer and me.
In May 2021, the Robots LatAm community finds that it has different spaces (Discord, Twitter, Telegram). They hope to have a centralized space where they can share knowledge and learn.
The research I conducted for this project had two objectives:
Exploration: Know the main motivations of the participating people in the community.
Validation: Validate or not the hypotheses that people would like to have a centralized space for the community.
Using the Design Thinking framework, we carry out:
✅ Design and conduct interviews and surveys.
✅ Cualitative and quantitative data analysis.
✅ Workshops with stakeholders.
✅ How might we? to define design challenges.
✅ Results presentation.
✅Hangouts - Meet
✅OTranscribe
✅Miro - Figjam
✅Google Docs
✅Google Sheets
✅Discord

Based on the information collected, four important points were defined about the users of the community:
the expectations they have,
what they think about sharing content,
how they access related content,
and their sociodemographic data.
This served as the basis for creating the two archetypes or User Personas: the enthusiastic student and the generous professional and the 39 design challenges. These challenges included the insights or findings produced by the research, which referred to the fears or type of information that people in the community expected to find.
Create a website that allows to centralize the information in a place of reference for the people of the community where they can connect with each other.
