Big Data for the Analysis of Traffic Routes 

This case study presents a scenario where big data architecture must be used to optimize taxi routes in New York City in real time. It is a theoretical exercise that explains and outlines the necessary solution architecture, the technology for processing large amounts of data, and the modeling of information collected from a conceptual level, defining the business drivers, objectives, strategies, and business domains. Finally, a tailored solution is proposed.
