I see the world as a cruel, dreadful place and to prove my point I'm going to use my dad's past and knowledge on this world. So first my dad took me to his old neighborhood in Belmont, Cicero and he showed me around and it still looks scary in the day time. I could just imagine what it looks like at night when things happen. So first he took me to 2 alleys and he told me that alleys were used for running from the cops, taking a short cut home, gang fights, shootings, death, and rape. My dad knows this because it happened in his neighborhood.
Then my dad took me to some graffiti on the garages. How I know this my dad said rival gangs would go to the other gang members house to mark up the garage and putting the other gang sign upside down so that they can mark their turf. Now when we went there as you can see the graffiti is all covered up.
The next place my dad took me was to some abandoned houses. Back then abandoned houses were popular and they still are today. They were used for breaking in, parties, rapes, illegal drugs, graffiti, murder, and break dancing. How I know this my dad was break dancing in these places in the 1980s.
The next place my dad took me was a park because my dad experienced gang wars, shootings, fights. This park was not safe for little kids. After the shootings a lot of people died at this park.
This is why I see the world as a cruel, dreadful place. Knowing what happened with gangs, fights, rapes, shootings, graffiti, etc. People are still doing this today. Everybody is saying how they want to bring peace to Earth but in reality it will never happen because a lot of people are still doing this stuff and they are putting a lot of children in danger because of their ways.
