There are specific testing requirements for obtaining your Indiana teaching license. Read on for steps to take and complete your needed Praxis tests.
*Take and pass the Praxis 5622 test: Principles of Learning and Teaching: Grades K-6.

*Take and pass the Praxis 5006 test: Elementary Education Assessment.
This test is made up of two subtests. One test focuses on math and science (5007). The second subtest focuses on literacy and social studies (5008). If you want to take both subtests at the same time, sign up for Praxis 5006. If you want to take the tests separately, you can sign up for each subtest individually. *Take and pass the Praxis 5205: Teaching Reading Elementary

*Take and pass the Praxis test coinciding with your intended special education area. Candidates with a TAL major should take the Mild Intervention Special Education Foundational Knowledge 5355 test.
