Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD): Student Member Research Travel Grants provide up to $600 to cover travel to present at a regional sociology conference (e.g., Eastern Sociological Society, Southern Sociological Society); additional travel funding for AKD chapter representatives. Southern Sociological Society (SSS): Odum Student Paper Award "carries a cash prize of $100 and up to an additional $200 toward expenses of attending the SSS meeting." Deadline is usually in December.
