Our Events

The New Year Party is an integral part of the Stephanian tradition in which the NTS Members, their Families, Faculty, and the Junior Members join in as one family. The New Year party is an annual event of SSL and is conducted in the 'Principal lawns'.

The Rudra Dinner is a trademark event of Aarohan named after Sushil Kumar Rudra (former principal of the college), conducted every year in the month of February. It is a grand celebration where students get an opportunity to thank the NTS for their tireless work and reciprocate their love and respect through interactive games, dances and volunteer work. 

The Annual medical camp is one of the signature events of SSL which provides free health checkup by medical experts to the non-teaching staff and their family members. In the past, we have collaborated with hospitals like Fortis, Jeevodaya and St. Stephens Hospital for the event. In 2023, it was organized in collaboration with AIIMS along with Sarcoma Cancer Centre where more than 200 people got the check-up done. 

The Blood Donation Camp is one of the biggest events of not only the DC and Parivartan Vertical but also of the entire college. It is essentially a time for all of us to come together in solidarity and volunteer for an event that can help hundreds of people. Volunteers can either donate blood or help in the BDC's arrangements. As the saying goes, "A single pint can save three lives and a single gesture can create a million smiles".
