Social Serve Foundation (SSF) is a non-governmental organisation formed on 06th October 2020, with its Head Office in Doolahat 30 No FC Grant, Po- Singra, Dist- Lakhimpur, Assam, 787023. SSF has aimed at the socio-economic development of socially backward communities, primarily Adivasis and tribal populations.
The organisation was officially registered in 2022 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It also holds registration under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, enabling tax exemption benefits.
SSF is a non-profit, socio-economic development organisation committed to uplifting tea garden workers and Adivasi/tribal communities. These communities are often subjected to poverty, social exclusion, and systemic discrimination. SSF has been actively working to address these issues through grassroots interventions focused on:
Formation and capacity-building of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Village Development Management Committees (VDMCs).
Sustainable livestock management
Disaster preparedness and management
Public participation and good governance
Child rights
Women's empowerment
Improved agricultural practices
Formal and informal education initiatives
In its ongoing mission to support marginalized communities, Social Serve Foundation (SSF) is currently working in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), to promote skill development and vocational training among rural youth and women, to advance its mission of holistic, inclusive socio-economic development in Assam.

SSF is presently working among the marginalized Adivasis and tea garden labourers of Lakhimpur, as well as basin of river Brahmaputra and Subansiri, and covering around 10 villages and 10 tea estates.
SSF has been involved in empowering economic development by providing the livelihood to the most marginalised society in the tea garden and flood affected communities in the state. SSF has been involved in promoting livelihood among the youth, School dropouts, farmer and flood affected families through building their skills and capacities, training and providing the support. SSF is also promoting the organic farming by producing their own organic manure for high production of crop and linking it to the local market through Support from various institutions.
