Philipson Sona is a dedicated development professional and the founding Secretary-cum-Director of Social Serve Foundation. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Dibrugarh University, Assam. With over 6 years of grassroots experience at People’s Action for Development (PAD), he has led numerous initiatives in the fields of education, child protection, livelihood promotion, and community empowerment in the underserved regions of Assam.
Philipson is known for his strong leadership, community engagement skills, and a deep commitment to social equity and inclusive development. His vision for the Foundation focuses on strengthening education, skill development, Disaster Risk Reduction and health awareness in rural and tea garden areas, ensuring marginalized communities gain access to essential services and opportunities.
Bruno Prakash Kondpan
Program Director, SSF
Bruno Prakash Kondpan holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Dibrugarh University. With over 5 years of experience in the education sector, he has previously worked as a school administrator, overseeing academic operations and staff coordination.
At Social Serve Foundation, he plays a key role in planning and implementing of programs, particularly for underprivileged children and youth in rural and tea garden areas. His expertise in educational leadership and grassroots engagement contributes significantly to the Foundation’s mission.
John Tirkey
Program Lead – Livelihood
John Tirkey is a social worker with 15 years of experience in the NGO sector. He holds a graduate degree and has worked with reputed organizations including Tezpur Social Service Society (TSSS), World Vision, and People’s Action for Development (PAD).
At Social Serve Foundation, John leads the Livelihood Program, focusing on income generation, skill development, and sustainable community-based initiatives. His extensive field experience and understanding of local economies make him a driving force behind the Foundation’s livelihood interventions.
Sujata Sona
Program Coordinator – Women & Child Development
Sujata Sona holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree and brings over 5 years of experience in the development sector. Prior to joining Social Serve Foundation, she worked with AIDA in Dimapur, where she was actively involved in women empowerment, child rights, and community development initiatives.
At SSF, she coordinates programs related to women and child welfare, focusing on gender equity, adolescent education, and health awareness. Her dedication and field-based approach make her an integral part of the Foundation’s core team.
Julpha Korkoria
Program Coordinator – Community Outreach
Julpha Korkoria is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and has practical field experience through her previous engagement with AIDA, Dimapur.
At Social Serve Foundation, she supports community-based programs with a focus on outreach, mobilization, and awareness generation, especially in tea garden and tribal communities.
Binudh Kumar
Accountant
Binudh Kumar holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree and serves as the Accountant at Social Serve Foundation. He is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and grant guidelines.
Pinina Sona
Junior Executive
Pinina Sona holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and serves as a Junior Executive at Social Serve Foundation. She supports program implementation, reporting, and coordination efforts across various thematic areas including education and women’s development.
